The speckled native trout is the most commonly fished species in the Pourvoirie Monts-Valin’s territory. Fishing quality stays excellent all season long due to the cold water temperature. The reason why the water stays cold during summer time is explained by undertow coming from the lake’s depth, the altitude and the latitude of the site.

There are 53 M.R.N. listed lakes for fishing on the territory plus three newly discovered rivers.

From the experts to the novices, there is a challenge to suit everyone’s needs and interests. If you are looking for a crystal clear water lake for the experienced fisherman or simply looking for an easier lake to fish on to initiate the newcomers, everybody will be satisfied by the quality of fishing on offer.
